About the position

The Program Support Manager at the Community Agency for Senior Citizens is responsible for overseeing case managers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to older adults aged 60 and above. This role involves developing and implementing care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining relationships with community resources to support clients' needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-screening and initial intakes, including full assessment of needs and safety.
• Carry a small caseload of clients.
• Support Program Supervisors as directed by the Program Director, including providing clinical support for high-risk clients.
• Supervise Master's and Bachelor's level Case Managers during Program Supervisor vacancy.
• Conduct supervisory reviews as part of quality assurance.
• Assist with urgent home visits and assessments.
• Supervise social work interns and temp CM staff, including oversight of documentation.
• Authorize EISEP homecare, housekeeping services, and home-delivered meals as per need and eligibility requirements.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a social service organization working directly with older adults.
• Social work supervisory experience required.
• Fluent in a second language (preferred).
• Crisis Management Skills.
• SIFI certified or qualified to obtain certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluency in a second language.
• Knowledge of DFTA database STARS.
