About the position

The Program/Systems Analyst II at Geeks and Nerds (GaN) is responsible for performing a variety of analytical tasks with a focus on supporting acquisition programs. This role requires intermediate application of established methods and procedures, providing administrative support while working under supervisory oversight. The position is designed for individuals who are creative, passionate, and eager to contribute to innovative solutions that positively impact the community and nation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of analytical tasks related to acquisition programs.
• Provide administrative support for tasks that are specific and broad in scope.
• Screen assignments for unusual or difficult problems and techniques.
• Work under supervisory oversight on new aspects of assignments.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Business or a closely related technical discipline.
• Ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible experience in the management of acquisition programs.
• One (1) year as the team leader of an acquisition project.
• Three (3) years as a practicing analyst responsible for a functional area of an acquisition program.
• Knowledge of the Material Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, and Production and Deployment phases of the acquisition process.
• Familiarity with modern qualitative and quantitative analysis tools.
• Knowledge of modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, and operational mathematics techniques.
• Knowledge of systems integration techniques, system trade-off analysis, and/or program planning.
