About the position

The Technical Lead will play a crucial role in supporting a high-visibility mission for a long-time customer, primarily within the Intelligence Community (IC). This position involves leading analytical methodology development efforts across various intelligence disciplines and providing technical leadership for software and systems engineering initiatives. The role requires strong communication skills to engage with government stakeholders and mentor junior employees, while also identifying and proposing data-driven solutions for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical methodology development efforts across various intelligence disciplines (e.g., GEOINT, MASINT, OSINT).
• Provide technical leadership for software/systems engineering efforts as needed.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose/design solutions to address those improvements.
• Drive requirements and tasking, ensuring buy-in from government stakeholders.
• Inspire colleagues to work toward common goals and mentor junior employees.
• Collaborate with counterparts across the IC, DIE, and Maxar to identify technologies and methodologies to support the customer.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 15 years' experience in analysis, analytical methodology development, and/or software development.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree in a STEM discipline.
• Significant experience in technical leadership, including identifying needs and driving requirements.
• Experience supporting proposal technical volumes and writing white papers.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to laymen and senior-level government representatives.
• Proficiency in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, ArcGIS, QGIS, Github, Jira.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and ScrumMaster.
