About the position

The Programmatic Media Buyer at Gatorworks is responsible for managing and optimizing digital media placements through Demand Side Platforms (DSPs). This role focuses on delivering customized digital marketing strategies that drive results for clients, requiring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for digital marketing. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams, to ensure effective media buying and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Use Demand Side Platform to place media according to impression budgets
  • Pace budgets appropriately throughout each month or duration of the campaign
  • Evaluate media placements to ensure the highest possible quality
  • Ensure click-tag and event tracking are properly accounted for
  • Run Click-Thru-Rate audits to evaluate tactics and placements
  • Meet with DSP & SSP vendors weekly to continue to evolve Gatorworks' tech stack for Programmatic
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings to discuss ongoing issues
  • Highlight and report on key performance indicators for the department
  • Identify and target niche audiences for clients
  • Report on results for ongoing programmatic clients
  • Identify key opportunities in future months for ongoing programmatic clients
  • Investigate tools for Programmatic OTT/CTV, Display, Audio, and Targeted Email platforms

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing
  • 1+ years of experience in Programmatic Media Buying
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategy, analytics, and goals
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital advertising, or related field
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with experience working with all levels of an organization, including C-level executives
  • Ability to identify, articulate, and defend insights and recommendations to our digital marketing team
  • Aptitude for uncovering and analyzing clients' spoken and unspoken goals and needs
  • A positive, can-do attitude

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with The Trade Desk, Simplifi, Basis, or other similar DSP platforms
  • Knowledge of Tapclicks, Google Analytics, or other analytics tools
  • Proficient in Site Impact or similar system
  • Understanding of how to use Google Tag Manager
  • Previous experience at a Digital Agency
