About the position

The Programmer Analyst at Barnhart Crane & Rigging Co. is responsible for collaborating with internal IT personnel and various business units to understand business needs and deliver quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role involves producing reports, custom scripting, application programming, and mobile application development, primarily integrated with the company's ERP system. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop software solutions based on business needs.
• Produce reports and custom scripts as required.
• Develop applications and mobile applications to meet business requirements.
• Maintain existing custom applications and implement improvements.
• Communicate with IT resources and business sponsors to clarify requirements and provide feedback.
• Track and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
• Assist in software evaluations and understand their impact on other areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal training or work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an analytical programming role.
• Expertise in Asp.net core, framework, and MVC.
• Proficiency in C# and JavaScript.
• Proficient in CSS, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL (2008 and greater).
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience with iOS (Swift) development is advantageous but not required.
• Experience with Power BI development is advantageous but not required.
