About the position
The Programmer Analyst at Barnhart Crane & Rigging Co. is responsible for collaborating with internal IT personnel and various business units to understand business needs and deliver quality software solutions. This role involves producing reports, custom scripting, application programming, and mobile application development, primarily integrated with the company's ERP system. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop software solutions based on business needs.
- Produce reports and custom scripts as required.
- Develop and maintain applications, including mobile applications.
- Communicate with IT resources and business sponsors to clarify requirements and provide feedback.
- Track and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Assist in software evaluations and understand their impact on other areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in an analytical programming role.
- Expertise in Asp.net core, framework, and MVC.
- Proficiency in C# and JavaScript.
- Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL (2008 and greater).
- Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Experience with iOS (Swift) and Power BI development is advantageous but not required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with iOS (Swift) Development is advantageous.
