The Programmer Analyst DOTNET Core position is a contract role based in Richmond, VA, focused on developing and managing .NET applications. The role requires a senior developer with expertise in .NET Core, JavaScript frameworks, and strong communication skills to engage in both technical and business discussions. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing software requirements, designing high-quality components, and ensuring adherence to programming best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage, encode, and analyze complex software requirements.
• Design and develop high-quality components using the .NET Core framework.
• Ensure programming best practices are followed.
• Prioritize work effectively and write system documentation as needed.
• Develop applications and backend services using C#, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, Node.js, CSS, and Blazor.
• Design and develop using appropriate software design patterns for reusability and maintainability.
• Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with project business and system analysts to clarify requirements and implement them.
• Participate in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements

• Experience with .NET Core framework and .NET applications development.
• Fluency in JavaScript and frameworks such as JQuery, React, Angular, or Blazor.
• Strong knowledge of C#, MVC, Web API, and Node.js.
• In-depth knowledge of system design patterns and tiered architecture.
• Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests.
• Strong communication skills for technical and business discussions.
