About the position

The Programmer/Analyst I position in the Neurology division focuses on conducting machine learning analysis related to epilepsy research. The role involves data analysis, manuscript preparation, and collaboration with the research team to assess progress on various studies.

Responsibilities

• Receive a list of studies to go through, identify studies, and retrieve the study.
• Utilize Matlab for video EEG screen recordings of seizures in a suitable format for analysis.
• Employ Python for automating processes and ensuring data integrity.
• Analyze data using traditional statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
• Perform analysis and write up results and/or manuscripts.
• Assist in researching and writing methods for manuscript and grant applications.
• Oversee analysis and manuscript/grant preparation.
• Participate in weekly meetings to assess progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• No prior experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of statistics is a plus.
