About the position

As a Programmer Analyst II at FIS, you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting fintech products that enhance the auto finance experience. This position involves working with advanced technology to create software applications that streamline processes for large-scale auto finance corporations. You will be part of a dynamic team that follows Agile methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery, focusing on design, development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop program logic for new applications or modify existing applications in the FinTech domain.
• Participate in the entire Software Development Lifecycle including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing, and maintaining software applications.
• Ensure successful implementation of system improvements.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Suggest technical alternatives and improvements to streamline processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cognitive science, computer science, or interface/visual design, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well with team members and independently.
• Knowledge of modern, end-to-end systems development life cycles.
• Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines.
• Knowledgeable in Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Auto or Asset Finance experience would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET.
