About the position

The Programmer Analyst-II at Cencora is responsible for developing and maintaining software scripts and programs that control, extract, and transform healthcare data for analytics. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance software applications and ensure the quality of program logic processing. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications.
• Collaborate with other staff in the development and initiation of new software programs and applications.
• Responsible for the quality assurance of program logic processing and error resolution.
• Take an active role in cross-departmental projects when needed.
• Recommend software improvements and upgrades for optimal performance of applications.
• Process client data accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with IT to optimize operating environment.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical users when needed.
• Work to support Diver Solution Product Suite.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computing, or related field.
• Five (5) or more years programming using ETL tools.
• Experience managing large datasets and performing advanced analytics (i.e. Excel modeling, SQL Server).
• Experience using Dimensional Insight's The Diver Solution Product Suite - highly desired.
• Strong quantitative skills; math / computer science background.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to less technical users.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with healthcare data preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work well both independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
