About the position

The Programmer Analyst-II at Cencora plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining software scripts and programs that manage healthcare data for analytics. This position is under the direction of the Director of InfoDive Operations & Development and involves collaboration with various teams to enhance software applications and ensure data quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications.
• Collaborate with other staff in the development and initiation of new software programs and applications.
• Responsible for the quality assurance of program logic processing and error resolution.
• Take an active role in cross-departmental projects when needed.
• Recommend software improvements and upgrades for optimal performance of applications.
• Process client data accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with IT to optimize the operating environment.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical users when needed.
• Work to support Diver Solution Product Suite.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computing, or related field.
• Five (5) or more years programming using ETL tools.
• Experience managing large datasets and performing advanced analytics (i.e. Excel modeling, SQL Server).
• Experience using Dimensional Insight's The Diver Solution Product Suite - highly desired.
• Strong quantitative skills; math / computer science background.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to less technical users.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with healthcare data preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, SQL Server, Adobe Acrobat and web-based applications.
