About the position

The Programmer Analyst .NET Core position at Datawize Technologies is a long-term contract role focused on developing and maintaining .NET web applications. The successful candidate will work onsite in Richmond, VA, three days a week, and is expected to have extensive experience in .NET application development, particularly with the .NET Core framework. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications and backend services using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, Node.js, CSS, and Blazor.
• Design and develop using appropriate software design patterns to ensure high reusability and maintainability.
• Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with project business and system analysts to clarify requirements and implement them.
• Participate in Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ensure programming best practices are followed and write system documentation as required.

Requirements

• 11+ years of .NET application development experience.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, Oracle, MVC, Node.js, CSS, React, .NET Core, C#, SQL, AWS, JavaScript, Angular, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of system design patterns and tiered architecture.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and software testing practices.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and business discussions.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience with AWS (Preferred).
• 1 year of experience with APIs (Preferred).
• Ability to commute or relocate to Richmond, VA (Preferred).
