About the position

The Programmer/Analyst V is responsible for supporting the Company's Virtual OneStop (VOS) software solution through various tasks including development, maintenance, and customer support. This role requires collaboration within an Agile team to ensure timely delivery of software solutions and involves both independent work and mentoring of team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform work independently under minimal supervision.
• Maintain web applications.
• Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies.
• Migrate internally developed applications to latest Microsoft .NET Technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues.
• Perform tests to find system/software defects.
• Follow design specs and apply best practices.
• Read specifications and design software solutions.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Create design specifications.
• Interface with subject matter experts to gather requirements.
• Conduct technical interviews.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in Microsoft Software Environment: MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2010 - 2017.
• Experience with migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform.
• Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Form applications.
• Experience using Team Foundation Server.
• Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries: JQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache, and AngularJS.
• Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and Mobile development is a plus.
• 10+ years of ASP.Net programming experience.
• A Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Nice-to-haves

• A Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus.
• MCSD / MCPD Certifications is a plus.
• Experience with Web API, AngularJS or Angular 2, and WCF Service.
