Programmer Analyst

About the position

The position involves developing and maintaining applications and extensions that interact with Ellucian Colleague using .Net and UniData. Responsibilities include updating, debugging, and maintaining code in any Colleague application while providing advanced technical support. The role requires collaboration with other programmers and managers to determine necessary support. The position operates under the general direction of the Manager of Administrative Systems and does not involve supervision of others.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications and extensions that interact with Ellucian Colleague using .Net and UniData.
• Update, debug, and maintain code in any Colleague application.
• Provide advanced technical support for Colleague applications.
• Collaborate with other programmers and managers to determine support needs.

Requirements

• Associate Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience).
• Some relevant work experience, including work study and internships.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of database theory and programming logic.
• Understanding of operating system concepts and version control.
• Familiarity with business process analysis, MVC, OOP, and domain-driven design.
• Skills in .Net programming and various programming languages (C#, UniData, HTML5, etc.).
• Experience with integrated development environments and version control with GIT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe software.

• Experience with Informer and other relevant software tools.
