About the position

As a Programmer Analyst at Jayes Tech LLC, you will play a crucial role in developing data transformation jobs and interfaces that are essential for our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and overseeing third-party vendor remote access to our servers, ensuring that all access is secure and compliant with our standards. You will also engage directly with customers to gather requirements and assist them during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing necessary documentation and guidance to facilitate their understanding and use of our systems. In this position, you will be expected to gather business requirements effectively and develop both functional and technical specifications that meet the needs of our clients. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with supervisors, colleagues, and customers regularly. You will also be responsible for developing custom reports and SQL queries as needed, which will aid in data analysis and reporting. Your role will extend to developing workflows and business processes that enhance operational efficiency. You will capture requirements using industry-standard development frameworks and tools, ensuring that all designs for reports, forms, letters, and computer terminal screen displays align with user requests and expectations. Additionally, you will review these designs with users to ensure satisfaction and usability. You will convert project specifications into functional applications using industry-standard tools, applying your knowledge of computer programming techniques and languages. Documentation is a key part of your responsibilities; you will write detailed descriptions of program development, logic, coding, and corrections, as well as user manuals that outline installation and operating procedures. Furthermore, you will assist users in troubleshooting operational problems, recreating the steps they took to identify issues, and rewriting programs to correct any errors.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Engineering (Any) or related field.
