About the position

The CMM Programmer at Polaris Inc. is responsible for programming CMM equipment to meet product development and daily production needs. This role involves supporting fixture development, training others on equipment usage, conducting inspections, and managing maintenance routines for CMM equipment. The position requires a strong background in machining and quality inspection, ensuring that products meet the required standards.

Responsibilities

  • Program CMM's per Polaris requirements
  • Support and provide input for CMM fixture development
  • Train others on proper equipment and measuring techniques
  • Complete first article inspections as needed
  • Develop and manage CMM maintenance routines, plans, and activities
  • Troubleshoot CMM measurement issues (programming, hardware, etc.)
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of vigorous machining CMM Programming
  • Strong GD&T skills in machining
  • Machining background
  • Strong inspection first article inspection experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Quality Inspection certification (CQA), preferred
