About the position

The CMM Programmer at Polaris Inc. is responsible for programming CMM equipment to support product development and daily production needs. This role involves ensuring quality through inspections, training others on equipment usage, and maintaining CMM systems. The position requires a strong background in machining and quality inspection, with a focus on continuous improvement and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Program CMM's per Polaris requirements
• Support and provide input for CMM fixture development
• Train others on proper equipment and measuring techniques
• Complete first article inspections as needed
• Develop and manage CMM maintenance routines, plans, and activities
• Troubleshoot CMM measurement issues (programming, hardware, etc.)
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of vigorous machining CMM Programming
• Strong GD&T skills in machining
• Machining background
• Strong inspection first article inspection experience
• Strong computer skills
• Quality Inspection certification (CQA), preferred
