About the position

The Senior Tableau Report Developer/ETL position at the State of Connecticut involves contributing to the development of a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The role focuses on ensuring efficient data processing and reporting solutions while playing a key part in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau reports to support business needs.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries and T-SQL scripts.
• Design and implement ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Support the migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Tableau
• 5+ years of experience in writing complex SQL queries
• Expertise in TSQL, SSRS, SSIS
• Experience with deploying SSIS packages and performance tuning
• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL best practices.
