About the position

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop and maintain applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8 and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate).
• Good knowledge of databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL).
• Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Proficient in using Git for version control.
• Ability to write efficient SQL queries and optimize algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with AWS EKS and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience in application monitoring and optimization techniques.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production errors.
• Understanding of CI/CD best practices and build pipeline troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of integration architecture concepts and patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Python scripting.
• Experience with Kibana or other logging frameworks.
