Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, implement, and document modifications to existing systems to enhance processing efficiencies or accommodate required changes.
• Investigate and resolve application system problems reported by system users.
• Follow specifications and procedures for modifications to existing computer systems or development of new systems in support of user requests.
• Work with outside vendors to install or apply updates to third-party software products.
• Assist with the implementation of new products and technologies.
• Assist in preparing detailed specifications for applications and reports.
• Assist in research and development of information systems.
• Assist in the system programming phases.
• Follow industry standards to produce and complete accurate work.
• Apply basic knowledge of the documentation process.
• Maintain the college CRM system.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Information Technology.
• Coursework in relational databases including SQL queries.
• Coursework in web programming including HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS.
