About the position

The Programmer I position at the Community College of Baltimore County is designed to support multiple information technology systems through professional work that encompasses programming, setup, maintenance, and implementation. In addition to system modifications, the Programmer I will investigate and resolve application system problems reported by users. This involves following established specifications and procedures for modifications and ensuring that all changes align with user requests. The role also requires collaboration with outside vendors to install or apply updates to third-party software products, as well as assisting in the implementation of new products and technologies that can enhance the college's information systems. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology.
  • Coursework in relational databases including SQL queries.
  • Coursework in web programming including HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS.
