About the position
The Programs Claim Processor is responsible for processing payments and deductions related to MDF items and End User accounts, ensuring accurate financial transactions and maintaining program agreements. This role requires collaboration with sales teams and brokers to resolve issues and reconcile payments, all while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process payments and deductions related to MDF items and End User accounts daily
- Research deviations related to billback payment requests and deductions daily
- Work with sales team and customers on denied trade deductions weekly
- Maintain Brokerage, Rebate, and MDF agreements on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis when proper paperwork is provided by Sales personnel
- Monitor materials and ship-to's added to the system to communicate with Sales regarding current agreements daily
- Work with Brokers to reconcile Brokerage payments and ensure accurate payments weekly/monthly
- Maintain accurate files of all programs and payments
- Run reports for Sales Reps as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience preferred
- SAP experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work proactively in a high-paced deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Focused, detail and numbers oriented, with the ability to multitask
- Experience in Excel required
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written required
- Ability to communicate and work closely with supervisor on critical/urgent sales programs issues
- High level of synergy is critical to success
- Ability to set goals and successfully meet deadlines
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
