About the position

The Programs Claim Processor role at Pilgrim's involves processing payments and deductions related to various accounts, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and maintaining agreements. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on detail and communication with sales teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and deductions related to MDF items and End User accounts daily.
• Research deviations related to billback payment requests and deductions daily.
• Work with sales team and customers on denied trade deductions weekly.
• Maintain Brokerage, Rebate, and MDF agreements on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis when proper paperwork is provided by Sales personnel.
• Monitor materials and ship-to's added to the system to communicate with Sales regarding current agreements daily.
• Work with Brokers to reconcile Brokerage payments and ensure accurate payments weekly/monthly.
• Maintain accurate files of all programs and payments.
• Run reports for Sales Reps as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work proactively in a high-paced deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Detail and numbers oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Experience in Excel required.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written required.
• Ability to communicate and work closely with supervisor on critical/urgent sales programs issues.
• Ability to set goals and successfully meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves
