About the position
The Progressive Care Unit RN is responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care to individuals of all ages, utilizing the nursing process to assess, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans. This role requires critical thinking to ensure safe, quality, and age-specific care while collaborating with healthcare team members and adhering to organizational policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess and reassess patient's condition based on observation and interviews.
- Develop and revise nursing plans of care according to unit guidelines.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation team members to implement treatment plans.
- Deliver safe rehabilitation nursing interventions in an organized manner.
- Evaluate patient's response to nursing interventions and progress towards outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Accept delegated responsibilities and act as charge nurse when assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing education program; BSN preferred.
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Ohio.
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required.
