About the position

The Project Accountant role is designed for an experienced professional who will manage accounting processes related to project management within a professional services environment. This position requires expertise in Deltek and a strong understanding of accounting practices specific to consulting services. The role emphasizes collaboration with Project Managers and necessitates a physical presence in the Seattle office for at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to track project budgets and financial performance.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to project activities.
• Utilize Deltek software for project accounting and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Accountant in a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Deltek software and its application in project accounting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Project Managers and other stakeholders.
