About the position

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Accountant to join our team at Nino Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. This role involves managing project financials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and mentoring junior staff members.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Conduct account analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist in mentoring junior staff members in accounting best practices
• Utilize accounting software such as Quicken and Sage for financial reporting
• Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records

Requirements

• Proficiency in Quicken, Sage, and other accounting software
• Strong understanding of account reconciliation and journal entries
• Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance
• Ability to analyze accounts and identify discrepancies
• Excellent communication skills for mentoring junior staff members
• 1 year of accounting experience
