About the position

The Project Accountant at The Beck Group plays a vital role in managing various warehouse operations, including vehicle management, DOT compliance, equipment maintenance, and general office duties. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle fleet operations including billing, maintenance records, and vehicle assignments.
• Maintain DOT vehicle files, including inspections and driver logs.
• Manage toll authorities and red light parking violations, including invoicing and account setups.
• Set up and maintain jobs in CMiC and manage project spreadsheets.
• Enter new equipment into CMiC and manage equipment rentals and invoices.
• Purchase office supplies and coordinate repairs for warehouse facilities.
• Manage the security system and coordinate repairs for the main gate.
• Code and enter vendor invoices in CMiC and manage year-end reporting.
• Submit and manage expenses for warehouse staff using Chrome River.
• Maintain warehouse personnel files and coordinate with Payroll.

Requirements

• Strong background in warehouse coordination and vehicle management.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask across various operational areas.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CMiC software.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Previous experience in a construction or building firm.
