ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project setup in the Sage 300 CRE/Procore: Including Schedule of Values, Budgets, and general contract review. Ensure that client billings are accurately prepared, promptly submitted to owner/client, and are in accordance with contract terms. Collaborate with the project management team to process monthly pay applications to owners/clients. Investigate all project expenses not billed to customers. Validate invoicing and reconciling overall project payables and receivables to project budgets. Maintain project filing system in accordance with company guidelines. Review and process subcontractor monthly pay applications and ensure all supporting attachments are included and accurate. Follow up with subcontractors to obtain any missing documents. Process subcontractor pay applications and urgent payment requests. Maintain excellent vendor/subcontractor/client relations. Maintain all project monthly unconditional & conditional lien releases. Assist in subcontract and change management. Assist in exporting Commitments/Prime Contracts/CCOs/OCOs. Respond to Preliminary Notice information requests. Close out project upon completion. Assist with other support functions as requested. Candidate should be proficient in Sage 300 CRE and Procore or similar accounting/project management system and Microsoft Office applications. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in the construction industry. General knowledge of basic accounting principles. General knowledge of contracts, change orders, preliminary notices, and lien releases. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Attention to detail. Strong written and verbal skills. Excellent time management. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members. Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with various team members in a fast-paced environment. Must be a team player willing to assist other team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Knowledge of construction accounting software (e.g. Sage 300 CRE or similar). SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No direct supervisory responsibilities. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as job cost reports and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, sub-contractors, and clients. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must have basic business mathematical skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or other forms.
