About the position

The Project Accountant at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Project Teams and the financial department. This position is responsible for various accounting-related tasks, including managing Accounts Payable, Subcontractor Costing, Owner Billings, and Cost Reporting. The Project Accountant will report directly to the Director of Project Accounting and will be integral in ensuring that all financial processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with accounting policies. In this role, the Project Accountant will process Accounts Payable invoices and payments, set up and enter project budgets, and manage the Owner Billing Process. Additionally, the position involves processing intercompany invoices, payments, and reconciliations, assisting in monthly cost reporting and financial closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies across all projects. The Project Accountant will also handle vendor and client correspondence, document management, contract reconciliation, cost and revenue analysis, audit compliance, and budget forecasting. Monitoring project processes and cash flow will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that financial operations align with project goals and timelines. Requirements

  • A degree in accounting or related field
