About the position

The Project Administrative Technician (PAT) plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Assistant Project Manager (APM) or Project Manager (PM) in the Right of Way industry. This position involves managing project documentation, tracking details, and facilitating communication among project stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of public infrastructure projects. The PAT is expected to demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities while contributing to the overall progress of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build, implement, and manage all systems for project team and database management.
  • Provide detailed accounts of organized tasks, schedules, or checklists for each project, including timelines and priorities.
  • Manage and track project documents to completion to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team regarding ongoing project updates.
  • Document all communication with landowners through various channels.
  • Review contracts, databases, and other complex documents with attention to detail.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional approach in written and verbal communications.
  • Perform duties in a timely manner while multitasking.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of office experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Experience with Dropbox, Deltek-Ajera, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, SharePoint, or equivalent electronic tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in administrative support for the Projects or Real Estate field.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
