About the position

The Project Analyst III will play a crucial role in supporting the PJM Divisional Portfolio Manager by ensuring compliance with corporate processes and project management methodologies for capital projects. This position involves close collaboration with project managers and subject matter experts to monitor project status, facilitate planning, and deliver successful project outcomes, particularly in IT and Cyber Security domains.

Responsibilities

  • Meet individual objectives outlined by the PJM Divisional Portfolio Manager.
  • Work closely with the PJM Project Manager and subject matter experts to comply with corporate processes.
  • Provide project management tools and process support to monitor project status and progress.
  • Participate in early project life cycle planning and coordinate future project activities.
  • Deliver business case and project charter reviews with senior leadership.
  • Assist in creating project work breakdown structures and highlight critical paths.
  • Perform project close-out activities as needed.
  • Collect and analyze feedback and lessons learned documentation.
  • Prepare custom status reports for Project Leadership Teams (PLTs).
  • Coordinate requests for changes to baseline scope-schedule-budgets.

Requirements

  • MBA or Engineering Degree preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years' experience with MS Project / MS Project Server (version 2013 or higher).
  • 5+ years' experience with MS Excel (pivot tables & VLOOKUP formulas).
  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) in a project management environment.
  • 5+ years' experience in large scale IT Projects (HW and/or SW; >6 month projects; >$1M budgets).
  • 1+ years' experience with procurement, competitive bidding, RFIs/RFPs, and SOWs.
