About the position

The Project Analyst will be a key member of the information security program management team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of cybersecurity and assurance projects. This role involves tracking project requirements, creating detailed project plans, and collaborating with security team members and partners to ensure successful project execution. The Project Analyst will utilize project management tools to report on metrics, track progress, and manage open issues, all while working within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing and new project deliveries, including proof of concept (POC) and enhancements.
• Establish and document project requirements and guidelines in line with standard security project delivery.
• Ensure project governance across all projects.
• Track security project requirements, outstanding risks, issues, decisions, lifecycle documentation, and dependencies.
• Maintain accurate project details to support reporting on milestones and related data.
• Create cross-functional project plans that define scope, schedules, stakeholders, resources, communication plans, and risk analysis.
• Interface with multiple stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements and facilitate project scope definition.
• Facilitate regular status meetings to manage project plan execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a project analyst or in a technical role within information technology or security.
• Ability to apply standardized project control mechanisms such as planning, tracking, estimating, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in using PMO tools effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize personal and team time effectively.
• Technical understanding of security technologies is a plus.
• Experience in the financial industry and cybersecurity is a plus.
