About the position

The Project Analyst at UCSF will provide administrative and technical support for mpox and other STI activities, focusing on state coordination and documentation of tecovirimat (TPOXX). This temporary role involves collaboration with various health jurisdictions and healthcare providers to enhance vaccine outreach and service delivery to priority populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and technical support for mpox and other STI activities.
  • Coordinate state documentation for tecovirimat (TPOXX).
  • Monitor requests and collaborate with the State Warehouse and Pharmacy team to process tecovirimat requests from local health jurisdictions (LHJs).
  • Coordinate meetings and trainings among LHJs, clinics, and CDPH for vaccine outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support integrated HIV, STI, and viral hepatitis services.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific computer application programs.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
  • Strong judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Ability to analyze, research, and synthesize large amounts of data with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in multi-tasking with demanding timeframes.
  • Knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.
