About the position

The Project Architect will manage and execute all stages of complex architectural projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and zoning regulations. This role requires strong technical skills, proficiency in architectural software, and the ability to lead project teams while maintaining communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all stages of complex architectural projects including programming, design, presentation drawings, construction documents, specifications, construction administration, project management, and client contact through project closeout.
• Track project schedules, budget, and deliverable requirements.
• Provide interdisciplinary coordination with consultants, and coordinate with AHJs to ensure project code compliance.
• Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types.
• Work directly to maintain communication with the project team and Principals, and lead and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6-10 years of design and technical experience in an architectural office.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's in Architecture from an accredited university/program. Professional license is a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite required.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.
• Well-versed in building systems and able to lead production of construction documents.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, ability to achieve goals and deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Twinmotion experience is a plus.
