About the position

The Project Architect at Haskell is responsible for developing innovative and cost-effective designs for various projects, particularly in the federal and defense sectors. This role involves leading design phases, ensuring compliance with client criteria and regulatory standards, and coordinating with other disciplines to maintain design integrity. The architect will also provide construction support and oversee the professional registration of documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and cost-effective designs, drawings, and specifications for assigned projects.
• Maintain professional registration and sign/seal documents under supervision, with proficiency in REVIT.
• Lead conceptual and detailed design phases while ensuring compliance with client criteria and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines and outside consultants to minimize errors and ensure design integrity.
• Provide construction support through document review, field observation, and resolution of construction issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Architect with a minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience.
• Proficiency in A/E technology and software such as ACAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Federal UFC (Unified Facilities Criteria) knowledge and DoD work experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with design for Army, Navy, Air Force, Air National Guard, or Army National Guard preferred.
