About The Position

The Project Business Coordinator - IV plays a crucial role in the growth and development of the Professional Services organization. This position serves as a liaison among Delivery Leaders, ensuring effective resource management and timely project delivery. The coordinator is responsible for enforcing company processes, managing resource assignments, and supporting project managers in addressing resourcing issues.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of Professional Services.
  • Experience in consulting and technical writing.
  • Resource management experience.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison among Professional Services organization Delivery Leaders regarding resourcing.
  • Ensure project resourcing is managed for timely delivery and communicate issues to Project Managers.
  • Enforce company processes and ensure proper procedures are followed for resource requests.
  • Support resource booking confirmation, conflict resolution, and solution development.
  • Provision resource assignments within various systems for active and pipeline engagements.
  • Ensure project assignments are complete and accurate.
  • Provide data input and report creation support for headcount justification.
  • Assess current resourcing requirements and identify gaps for future needs.
  • Facilitate weekly resource meetings and resolve resourcing conflicts with department heads.
  • Maximize utilization and profitability of assigned resources' billable time.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming projects related to resourcing.
  • Work with RDM to resolve under or over allocations of staff members.
  • Analyze and report on weekly utilization reports for the Resource Management team.
  • Identify potential resourcing or process issues and recommend improvements.
  • Write and update operational procedures and documents.
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to create training materials and user guides.
