About the position

Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for some of the largest and most forward-thinking companies in the world. As a Project Engineer on our Data Center Civil Team, you will be involved in some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects being built today. Our clients value the work we do, allowing us to contribute to society's technological and connected community through the design of critical infrastructure. In this role, you will serve as a project manager on some projects and as the lead design engineer on others. Your responsibilities will include preparing planning and design documents, conducting process design calculations, and developing and maintaining team and client standards. You may also lead quality assurance/quality control efforts and act as an advisor on complex projects, coordinating with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants. This position offers flexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities, to accommodate diverse working preferences and promote work-life balance. You may also be required to travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings, providing you with a dynamic work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering.
  • At least 6 years of related civil engineering experience.
  • Proficient in Civil 3D software.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
