About the position

The Project Civil Engineer for Data Center at Olsson will be involved in designing and managing large-scale engineering projects, specifically focused on hyperscale data center campuses. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and client service, allowing engineers to contribute to significant infrastructure projects that enhance community connectivity and technological advancement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a project manager on some projects and lead design engineer on others.
• Prepare planning and design documents and process design calculations.
• Develop and maintain team and client standards.
• Lead quality assurance/quality control processes and act as an advisor on complex projects.
• Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants.
• Travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering.
• At least 6 years of related civil engineering experience.
• Proficient in Civil 3D software.
• Must be a registered professional engineer.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
