About the position

The Project Civil Engineer position is designed for early career or recent graduates in Civil Engineering. The role focuses on reviewing project requirements, collaborating with project managers and engineers, and creating detailed drawings using CAD software. The engineer will ensure that all designs meet project standards and provide guidance to CAD technicians and designers.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and design information to ensure they meet design goals.
• Work with Project Managers and Engineers to set key tasks and deadlines for projects.
• Choose the best methods to create drawings using customized CAD templates, standard templates, or by updating existing files.
• Create drawings in CAD based on project documents and make necessary corrections during quality checks.
• Check other drafters' drawings to ensure they meet project standards and requirements.
• Share completed drawings with team members for feedback and final delivery.
• Provide help and guidance to CAD Technicians and Designers.
• Make design recommendations based on input from other departments and engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge or proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
