About the position

Parsons is seeking a talented Project Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with an industry-leading team on various initiatives aimed at enhancing and digitizing processes and procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with client representatives to develop and coordinate both internal and external communications, as well as managing standard operating procedures, document management, and training documentation. This position is crucial for supporting organizational transformation through strategic communications and change management principles. You will be responsible for creating branded communications toolkits, which will include developing PowerPoint slide decks and templates to standardize public communication methods. Additionally, you will devise a social media communications strategy and manage the associated channels. Your experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as Everbridge, will be essential in facilitating effective public communications. A significant part of your role will involve supporting the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both the Bus and Rail sections, ensuring that these procedures align with regulatory standards while promoting operational excellence. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will maintain high standards for 24/7 operations. You will also spearhead the digitization of form usage by creating SharePoint forms, replacing outdated paper-based processes with efficient digital solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity across the organization. Furthermore, you will conduct, manage, and support the streamlining of training courses by collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Your experience in customer and employee communications, particularly in the field of transit operations, will be invaluable as you navigate the complexities of communications and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate internal and external communications with client representatives.
  • Create branded communications toolkits, including PowerPoint slide decks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, or a related field (Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in communications or related fields.
  • Experience working with SharePoint.
  • Experience leading or facilitating training courses and developing course materials.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Visio.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Everbridge.
