About the position

The Project Consultant, Microsoft System Administrator role at Huron involves providing expert consulting services to clients in the digital healthcare sector. The position focuses on leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge to drive systemic change and support organizational leadership in addressing complex challenges. This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while engaging with clients to enhance their Microsoft systems and overall IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting and subject matter expertise to clients by assessing, identifying, and providing solutions to their Microsoft System.
  • Perform routine audits of systems and software.
  • Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems.
  • Perform backups and implement operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software.
  • Manage user account information, including adding, removing, or updating accounts and resetting passwords.
  • Document system configuration and changes.
  • Troubleshoot any reported problems and perform system performance tuning.
  • Ensure that the network infrastructure is operational and efficient.
  • Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments.

Requirements

  • Must have Microsoft Office 365 experience.
  • Must be able to work 100% remote.
  • Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required.

Nice-to-haves

  • MCSA Certification
  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g. BA, BS) or equivalent work experience.
