About the position

The Project Control Analyst Journeyman at PSI Pax is responsible for ensuring the successful financial performance of projects by analyzing, reporting, and monitoring financial data. This role involves tracking expenditures, estimating completion costs, and maintaining the integrity of financial data to support project billing and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, monitor, and report on financial performance of projects.
  • Track and coordinate contract funding requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project spend plans.
  • Prepare contract financial deliverables.
  • Develop cost estimates.
  • Perform financial risk analysis and develop recommendations for mitigation.
  • Track incoming and outgoing funding and coordinate associated requirements.
  • Validate Direct Charges against projects (prime and subcontractor).
  • Assign personnel in the financial system to direct projects for time and expense charging and maintain project data in support of project billing.
  • Monitor project plan vs actual financial performance.
  • Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs) by providing financial data input and participating in customer meetings.
  • Prepare invoices and submit for approval in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Support contract closeout.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Four years of related experience including working knowledge of Government Contracts and financial management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in MS Excel preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles is desired.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with Management and Executive level staff.

  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with financial risk analysis.
