About the position

The Project Control Analyst at ATLAS is responsible for driving exceptional project outcomes by transforming data into actionable insights. This role involves collaborating with a close-knit team to optimize processes, manage risks, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The analyst will play a crucial role in cost estimating, planning, scheduling, risk assessment, performance analysis, and continuous improvement, contributing to the overall success of the projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost models to support budgeting and forecasting needs.
• Create project schedules to ensure timely completion and resource allocation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks alongside project managers.
• Analyze performance metrics to uncover insights for improvement.
• Maintain project documentation to meet compliance and excellence standards.
• Look for ways to improve processes and set new standards in project control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other essential software tools.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams and handle multiple priorities.
• US Work Authorization and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with government contracting or knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and CAS.
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Skills in specialized tools for accounting, forecasting, and pricing in a government contractor setting.
