About the position

The Project Control Manager will oversee project controls for a Utility Scale Solar Construction project in Petersburg, Indiana. This senior-level position involves managing planning, scheduling, cost engineering, and risk/change management, ensuring effective project execution and client communication. The role includes leading a team, providing guidance to junior staff, and facilitating project forecasts while addressing issues that may impact project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls function for a Utility Scale Solar Construction project.
• Manage planning, scheduling, cost engineering, and risk/change management activities.
• Provide guidance to less experienced project controls personnel.
• Act as the lead facilitator for project forecasts and advise the project team on execution matters.
• Prepare baseline cost deliverables and lead the project cost controls team.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly reports and manage quantity reporting.
• Coordinate planning and cost control functions on less complex projects after baseline establishment.
• Interface with management and subcontract construction partners to identify and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Six or more years of relevant experience in Cost Control, Planning, and Scheduling.
• Experience in project controls, cost engineering, and risk/change management for at least six years.
