Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all plant financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory through meticulous tracking and reporting systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports covering labor, materials, manufacturing overhead, distribution costs, returns, and inventory levels.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls across plant operations to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Provide leadership to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Act as a strategic partner to plant management, providing financial insights to guide operational decisions, improve profitability, and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards, Oracle, and OnBase platforms for efficient data management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for developing and analyzing complex financial models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
