About the position

The Project Controlling Manager at Power Systems Mfg., LLC is responsible for overseeing the Project Controlling team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and advising project management and cost center managers. This role requires close collaboration with project and business management to manage cash flow, revenue, and margin effectively, while also ensuring compliance with financial processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Project Controlling team and support financial reporting.
• Validate project portfolio cost, revenue, and invoice forecasts for proper revenue recognition.
• Analyze and manage financial movements regarding revenue and cash, ensuring consistency in ERP systems.
• Manage and forecast cash movements and monitor taxes, insurances, and customs duties.
• Ensure compliance with financial processes and internal controls, including reconciliation between project and statutory books.
• Take responsibility for all financial issues from pre-contract award to contract close.
• Prepare annual cost center budgets and analyze variances monthly.
• Lead the preparation of consolidated Project & Cost Center reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in long-term project accounting/controlling.
• International finance experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work with sales/tender teams and knowledge of commercial instruments.
• Minimum 5 years experience in solving technical or organizational problems on cross-functional teams.
• Minimum 2 years experience managing direct reports.
• Proficient in SAP finance modules and MS Office programs.
• Ability to analyze and summarize complex financial data.
