About the position

The Project Controls Coordinator at Thompson Thrift is a key role responsible for overseeing project controls processes and systems. This position serves as a subject matter expert on project controls, focusing on software administration, training, and strategic implementation to ensure project teams are equipped for success. The coordinator will manage Procore software, provide training, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the project management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Procore Administration including personnel changes, permissions, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive Procore and project controls training for project managers, engineers, and site teams.
  • Oversee software administration, managing Procore settings, user permissions, and integrations.
  • Stay informed of Procore updates and industry trends to refine software usage.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Procore users, resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize Procore's analytics tools to generate reports and insights for decision-making.
  • Manage document control including project compliance reporting and contract changes.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures, and train team members on their use.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years in project controls within the construction industry.
  • Significant experience using construction software and working with policies, procedures, and systems.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Procore software and its features.
