About the position

The Project Controls Coordinator position at Intone Networks is a contract role focused on providing essential support to the Project Controls team. The primary responsibilities include managing deliverables related to project planning, costing, scheduling, documentation, coordination, and implementation of project activities. This role is crucial for ensuring that project activities are executed efficiently and effectively, and it requires close collaboration with project management, project controls, and the centralized engineering organization, as well as other internal teams at TerraPower. In this role, the Project Controls Coordinator will coordinate with project managers and project controls to follow up on project actions, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. The coordinator will also support the preparation and presentation of monthly project progress performance reports, which are vital for tracking project status and performance metrics. Additionally, the coordinator will assist in gathering and analyzing schedule update information from various teams, which is essential for maintaining accurate project timelines. The position also involves supporting the preparation and resolution of project change requests, creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and scheduling project-specific meetings. The coordinator will maintain action item logs and assist in developing project controls procedures, templates, and guidelines. This role is dynamic and may include other duties as assigned, requiring flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with project managers and project controls to follow up on project actions.
  • Coordinate project activities by working with all stakeholders, including centralized engineering, to enable project execution.
  • Support preparation and presentation of monthly project progress performance reporting for the project controls team.
  • Assist, gather, and analyze schedule update information from project management and the centralized engineering organization, as well as partner organizations.
  • Support preparation and resolution of project change requests.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Schedule Natrium project specific and project controls related meetings, maintain action item logs, assist with the development of project controls procedures, templates, and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in project planning, coordination, or management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks despite interruptions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • High degree of trust and integrity, with a desire to foster teamwork.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Experience with or knowledge of nuclear power.
