About the position

The Project Controls Engineer will manage the operations of the New Embassy Compound (NEC) construction project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing the project's cost and schedule, drafting project controls reports, and managing various aspects of construction including change orders and submittals. The position requires a commitment of at least one year, with the possibility of extending up to 54 months, and includes housing and transportation allowances along with a competitive uplift on the base salary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations of the NEC project office related to cost and schedule.
  • Perform project controls report drafting and production using MS Office Suite.
  • Conduct cost management and schedule management using Primavera.
  • Oversee change order management and submittal management.
  • Prepare reports and Independent Government Estimates (IGEs).
  • Maintain a daily construction log.
  • Review construction contractor's monthly application for payment and advise the NEC Project Director of findings.

Requirements

  • US Government Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Architectural Engineering, or a current US PE license as a substitute.
  • Some experience with Primavera (not required to be an expert).
  • 7 years of construction experience.
  • ABET accredited international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor's or US PE.
