  • Coordinates planning and implementation of projects related to professional development focused on site-based de-escalation training.
  • Creates and implements communication plans for projects to keep stakeholders informed on progress.
  • Creates follow-up plans for evaluation of implemented projects.
  • Collaborates with other Professional Development Coordinators and internal/external partners as needed.
  • Develops and delivers project-related trainings for district staff.
  • Manages project expectations with team members and stakeholders, identifying and resolving issues and conflicts.
  • Promotes the Superintendent's goals and priorities in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and MPS information.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional experience coordinating events, programs, and/or projects.
  • Knowledge of Minneapolis Public Schools policies and regulations.
  • Understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Familiarity with educational training programs.
